Free Play Lab

Free play is self-directed exploration. No curriculum, no predetermined outcome. It is how children learn, how founders iterate, and how the best ideas emerge.

We build systems that observe, listen, and make sense of the messy, beautiful, real-world moments where development actually happens. Our work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and early childhood development. Two fields that share more than most people realize.

Current experiment

Peekabloom. AI-powered developmental observation for early childhood educators. Voice-first capture, structured documentation, automatic framework tagging. Currently piloting in Toronto.
